9. Connection
• Connect the cinch cable to the input of the downstream mixing console/amplifier.
- Connect the record player's white cinch plug with the left channel of the mixing console/amplifier.
- Connect the record player's red cinch plug with the right channel of the mixing console/amplifier.
• Connect the USB socket to a free USB port of your computer.

Connecting the voltage supply

The mains outlets to which the record player is connected must be easily accessible to quickly separate the device
•
from the mains voltage in case of an error.
• Be careful when handling the mains cables and mains connection. Mains voltage can lead to a fatal electric shock.
• Make sure that no cable lies around openly. Install cables professionally to prevent accidents.
Make sure that all electrical connections and connection cables between the different devices and any extension
•
cables comply with the regulations and the operating instructions.
• IMPORTANT! Ensure before connecting the device to the mains voltage that the voltage selector below the turntable
is in the correct position for your mains voltage (see "Installation").
Setting the wrong voltage can result in irreparable damage to the device and exposes the user to risks.

• Connect the power cable with the device and plug the power plug into a wall socket.
• The POWER switch is used to switch the record player on and off (ON: The appliance is switched on, OFF: the appliance is switched off).

10. Settings

Setting the stylus force
Caution: Take care not to damage pick-up's needle while performing the following settings!
• Turn the anti-skating control to the "0" position.
• Remove the needle protective covering from the pick-up head by gently sliding it forwards.
• Open the rest clip on the pick-up arm rest and swing the pick-up arm to the space between the pick-up arm rest and the turntable.
• Lower the pick-up arm lifter by bringing the pick-up arm lever forwards. Carefully support the pick-up arm with a finger to avoid it falling
down.
• Turn the pick-up arm counterweight until the pick-up arm hovers horizontally and level with the turntable. While doing this make sure that the
pick-up arm is not resting on anything. The pick-up arm should not be tipping towards the pick-up head or counterweight.
• Return the pick-up arm to the pick-up arm rest and lock the clip into place.
• Rotate the setting scale on the pick-up arm counterweight to the"0" position, without altering the setting on the counterweight itself (hold the
counterweight / only rotate the scale).
• Set the stylus force of the pick-up arm according to the enclosed scale with the manufacturers recommended stylus forces. To achieve this
rotate the counterweight from the setting scale counter-clockwise as viewed from the front, until the desired weight is reached. The red line
on the pick-up arm is the marking for this setting. The recommended setting for the supplied system is "3-4", i.e. 30-40 mN.
