7. Installation
Lid
•
Insert the hinges into the hinge mounts at the back of the device.
•
Clip the lid into its hinges.
8. Setup
•
Ensure proper ventilation when setting up the device.
•
Never place the product on soft surfaces such as carpets, beds, etc.
•
In addition, air circulation must not be obstructed by any objects such as magazines, tablecloths, curtains etc. This
prevents heat removal from the product and can lead to overheating (risk of fire).
•
Make sure that the device is set up securely positioned on a steady surface.
•
Persons can be injured if the device falls down.
•
When setting up the device, make sure that the connection cables are not squeezed or damaged by sharp edges.
•
Always install the cables so that nobody can trip over them or become entangled in them. Risk of injury.
•
When selecting a place to set up the device, avoid direct, intense sunlight, vibration, dust, heat, cold and moisture.
•
Make sure there are no devices with strong electric or magnetic fields such as transformers, motors, cordless
telephones or radio-controlled devices in the vicinity of the device, as they can cause interferences in the record
player.
Never place the device on valuable or sensitive furniture surfaces without sufficient protection.
•
When selecting the setup location, please take into consideration the room layout such as the whereabouts of the nearest mains socket
etc.
•
Set up the record player at a sufficient distance from the loudspeakers to avoid acoustic feedback.
•
The playing surface should be isolated from the floor surface.
9. Connection
Connecting the Outputs
•
Before connecting the device, ensure that the mains plug is disconnected.
•
Turn off all units that are to be connected and disconnect them from the mains supply.
•
Please observe the manufacturers' installation and safety instructions of all other devices that are to be connected
together.
•
For cabling, use only suitable cinch or USB lines. In case of doubt, consult an expert.
•
To avoid distortion or mismatched connections which could damage the record player, connect only cinch outputs
to cinch inputs.
•
Also observe the values stated under "Specifications".
The record player has a built-in phono pre-amplifier and so it can be connected to devices with or without a phono
input.
•
The PHONO/LINE switch switches the built-in phono pre-amplifier on and off.

Put the PHONO/LINE switch in the PHONO position if the record player is connected to a phono input.

Put the PHONO/LINE switch in the LINE position if the record player is connected to a line-in input.
