Operation

Switching on/off

• Switch on the AV source device and the TV set. In some cases, playback must be started on the AV source device
or the AV input of the TV set must be activated. Read the respective operating instructions.
Switch on the transmitter and the receiver using the POWER ON/OFF switch on the back of the devices. The red
POWER LED at the front of the device lights up when the device is switched on.
The LINK LEDs of the transmitter and the receiver flash for a short time. This indicates that the transmitter and
the receiver synchronise channel and signal encryption.
After a few seconds, the LINK LEDs of the transmitter and the receiver light up permanently. This indicates that
synchronisation is complete, and the transmitter as well as the receiver are ready for operation.
If one LINK LED does not light up or keeps flashing, press the RESET button at the front of the respective device.
Synchronisation starts again.
The transmitter and the receiver use a code (the so-called SSID). This „password" allows the
synchronisation between the transmitter and the receiver. The SSID of the transmitter is fixed and
cannot be changed. The SSID of the receiver is variable. This allows you to programme the receiver
to work with the transmitter.
• After successful synchronisation, the image of the AV source device is displayed on the TV screen.
To put the system in standby mode, point the provided remote control towards the front of the receiver and press
the POWER button. The transmitter and the receiver go in standby mode, the POWER LEDs remain lit, and the
LINK LEDs go out.
To switch the system on again, just press the POWER button on the remote control again.
To completely switch off the system, use the POWER switches at the back of the transmitter and the receiver.

Setting the system code (SSID)

The above described system code (SSID) makes communication between the transmitter and the receiver possible.
By default, the transmitter and the receiver are preset for each other.
If you need to adjust the settings (e.g. to integrate a new receiver), you can do so using the provided remote control.
The SSID of the transmitter cannot be changed. The SSID is stated on the nameplate at the bottom of
the transmitter.
