S-video connection
• Connect the S-video output of your AV source device to the S-VIDEO (4) socket of the transmitter.
• Connect the audio outputs of your AV source device to audio sockets AR and AL (6) of the AV INPUT of the
transmitter.
• Connect the S-video input of your TV set to the S-VIDEO (12) socket of the receiver.
• Connect the AUDIO 1 (10) outputs of the receiver to the corresponding audio inputs of your TV set.
RCA video connection
• Connect the RCA video output of your AV source device to the AV INPUT VIDEO (7) socket of the transmitter.
• Connect the audio outputs of your AV source device to audio sockets AR and AL (6) of the AV INPUT of the
transmitter.
• Connect the RCA video input of your TV set to the CVBS (11) socket of the receiver.
• Connect the AUDIO 1 (10) outputs of the receiver to the corresponding audio inputs of your TV set.
• To ensure that the signal from your AV source device will still be played back by your main TV set, connect the
AV OUTPUT VIDEO (3) RCA socket to the RCA video input of your main TV set. Also connect the AV OUTPUT
AR and AL (2) audio outputs to the corresponding audio inputs of your main TV set.
Infrared signal cables
In order to control AV source devices from the receiver, the provided infrared signal cables (black cables with button-
shaped transmitters at the ends) must be connected.
• Place the IR transmitters in front of the AV source device(s) to be controlled. The IR transmitters must point
towards the infrared receivers of the devices to be controlled.
• Plug the infrared signal cables into the IR1 and IR2 sockets of the transmitter.

The distance between the IR transmitter and the IR receiver should not exceed 50 cm. The angle should
not be outside the range of +/-15°. See the operating instructions of the device to be controlled to find
out the position of the IR receiver eye.
You can use the provided adhesive pads to place the IR transmitters in front of the IR receiver eyes or
the devices to be controlled. To not cover the IR receiver eye completely so that the devices can also
be controlled directly via the remote control.
