• The time needed to charge depends on the charge state of the battery when the charging
process starts, its capacity and the output current of the USB power adapter. The charging
current may decrease if the mobile device is placed on the charger with a protective cover
(this depends on the material or how thick the protective cover is). Protective covers made of
metal or with integrated magnets must be removed.
• Charging starts automatically when a current is induced in the secondary coil of the mobile
device. This then charges the internal battery. The energy is transmitted wirelessly over a
short distance by this technique.
• Charging stops automatically once the battery is fully charged.
A flashing LED during charging is indicative of an error. This may be the case, if the
mobile device is not placed properly or the protective case on the mobile device
prevents charging. Remove the protective cover from the mobile device and place
the mobile device on the charger properly.

Tips and notes

• Position the mobile device to be charged correctly on the charger, see illustration and de-
scription in chapter "Getting started".
• Refer to the user manual for your mobile device, if necessary, and read how and whether it
is charged up on a Qi charger.
• Do not place anything between the mobile device and the charger as this will interfere with
the charging process. You may also need to remove the protective cover of your mobile
device to ensure the device gets properly charged. However, this depends on the protective
cover used.
Protective covers made of metal or with integrated magnets must be removed from the mo-
bile device.
• By its very nature, the wireless transmission of energy between USB power adapter and
mobile device is not without loss in energy. Compared to charging up the mobile device
directly via the USB power adapter, the charging time of wireless Qi charging is a bit longer.
The greater the distance between the mobile device and the front of the charger, the less
energy is transmitted and thus charging takes longer.
• It is normal that some heat develops during charging and usually this has no negative impact
on the mobile device or the charger.
• Please follow the mobile device's operating instructions, if you want to retrofit your non-
Qi compatible mobile device with a suitable protective cover and integrated Qi adapter, for
example.
• We urge you to use the USB power adapter that came with your mobile device to power the
charger. Alternatively, you may use a USB power adapter with an output voltage of 5 V/DC
and an output current of at least 2 A.
• The LED on the front of the charger has the following functions:
- When connecting to the voltage/power supply: LED briefly flashes 1x
- Stand-by: LED off
- When charging: LED lights up for 3 minutes, then the LED turns off
- Charging is complete: LED off
- Error: LED flashes

Care and cleaning

• The product contains no parts that require servicing. Therefore, do not open/dismantle it.
• Disconnect the product from the mains supply before each cleaning procedure. Remove the
USB cable and then remove the mobile device from the charger.
• Never use abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these
could damage the casing or even impair operation.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable materials and do not belong in the household
waste. Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statu-
tory regulations. That way you fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the
protection of the environment.
