This camera is meant for mounting in, and protecting, secluded or critical areas (e.g.
entrance areas, surveillance of underground car parks and the like).
The product is designed for operation indoors and outdoors (IP66).
The camera is only intended to be used with a stabilised mains voltage of 12V/DC.
Please bear in mind that it is prohibited by law to observe strangers with a camera
without their knowledge and consent. Observe the rules and regulations of the coun-
try where you are using the camera.
Any other use than that described above may damage the product. Moreover, this
may give rise to hazards such as short-circuiting, fi re, electric shock, etc. No part of the
product may be modifi ed or converted!
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to ob-
serve these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any
consequential damage!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions. The
warranty will be null and void in such cases.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is inad-
missible because of safety and approval reasons (CE). Never dismantle the
product.
• The camera is only intended to be used with a stabilised direct current of
12 V/DC. The inner contact of the round plug should be Plus/"+", the outer
contact Minus/"-".
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. It
should be operated out of the reach of children.
• The use of the surveillance camera system does not replace the personal
supervision of children, or people who require special assistance, but only
serves as a support to this supervision.
• The camera is suitable for use in indoor and outdoor areas (IP66). However,
it must never be operated in or under water, this will destroy it.
The plugs at the connection cable of the camera are not waterproof or water
tight and must therefore be installed in a dry indoor area.
• The camera should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sun-
light, strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.

• Make sure that the connection cable is not being pinched or damaged by
sharp edges.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous
playthings for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or ac-
cidental drops, even from a low height.
• If the camera is used with other devices (e.g. a monitor), the operating in-
structions and safety notices for the connected devices must be followed.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device no longer works
- the device was stored for a longer period of time in unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Em-
ployer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating
Materials are to be observed.
• Ensure that all the electrical connections and connection cables between
the different devices and any extension cables comply with the regulations
and comply with the operating instructions.
• Make sure that the connection cables are not being pinched or damaged by
sharp edges.
• Disconnect the power supply from the power socket if the camera is not to
be used for a while (e.g. storage).
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual,
please contact our technical service or another specialist.

Installation

The camera is equipped with a standard tripod thread at the camera's top and bot-
tom. Thus, it can be installed not only using the wall/ceiling bracket provided, but also
using any other bracket with a tripod thread.
If you want to use the provided wall/ceiling bracket, it is to be affi xed in a suitable loca-
tion with three screws. Use dowels if required by the surface.
Make sure when screwing into place or when drilling holes that cables or wires
are not damaged.
Move the camera into the desired position. Then fasten the ball head to the wall/ceil-
ing bracket by tightening the plastic screw at the top of the wall/ceiling bracket and
afterwards, fasten the small grub screw using the hexagon key provided.
The camera should not be pointed directly at bright sources of light or the sun, since
the image will be overdriven by this.
For outdoor use we recommend to choose a location that is protected from
rain (e.g. under the eaves) to prevent the formation of droplets on the cam-
era's front panel that will cause a distorted and unusable image.
In a fi nal step, fasten the sun screen cover on the camera's top using the suitable
screw.
