b) Unlocking
There are two possible ways of unlocking:
• Press the "Unlock" button on the door lock actuator (upper button). An "M" is
• Press the button "Unlock" (right upper button) on the radio remote control for
The locking bolt is moved into the neutral position. After the process has been
completed, two short signal tones will sound.
Please note:
If the door lock actuator is obstructed by a jamming lock in approaching the desired
position, the actuator is switched off and the acknowledgement signal does not sound.
If it concerns here only a disturbance which occurs in normal operation (for example,
through influences of temperature), you can possibly overcome the jamming of the lock
by undertaking a renewed attempt at unlocking the lock.
If you have unlocked the lock previously already with a key from outside or with the hand
wheel of the actuator, the display will display "unlocked" ( ) although the lock itself is
already locked. The acoustic acknowledgement signal will also sound but the desired
position is not approached.
This is because when using a cylinder lock with emergency operation feature, the
functions of the inner and outer parts of the cylinder lock work independently of one
another. The same goes naturally also for the hand wheel. The door lock actuator has no
influence on the opening feature of the outer part of the cylinder lock (applies only for
cylinder lock with emergency operating feature!) or the hand wheel.
In this case, put the cylinder lock into position ("unlocked") displayed in the display per
key or hand wheel or press the key "open door" on the radio remote control for approx.
1 second.
This means that the door lock actuator moves against the stop of the lock and lines up
again.
