ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Introduction/Preamble:
Please read the operating instructions in full before assembling and using your system. Please allow
sufficient time for installation and follow the instructions step by step. Special information or dangers
are marked accordingly and should be taken seriously in order to avoid risks and prevent damages to the
filter system.
Time required for assembly: 30-60 min.
Initial operation: The "Aqua-Q" must be flushed out for approx. 30 minutes after installation.
Function:
If your "Aqua-Q" does not function properly, please first read our proposed solutions for faults in the
„Solutions" chapter (see page 31).
Important!
Please keep these installation instructions in a safe place. If you give this "Aqua-Q"
device to other people, you should also be sure to provide them with this manual.
Safety:
Important!
The "Aqua-Q" device is connected to your existing water supply.
You should therefore be particularly careful and precise when installing your device.
Please observe the following instructions:
1. You will need some DIY skills in order to install your "Aqua-Q" . If the installation is too difficult for
you, a skilled plumber will be able to install the device without any problems.
2. Lay out that tools that you will need to use. You can find a list of the tools required in the
„Required Tools" chapter (see page 22).
3. You should only use Teflon tape when explicitly instructed to do so.
4. Before you start to install your device, shut off your main water supply and make sure that there is
no water flowing through the cold water pipe. You can check this by turning on the tap in your sink.
5. Insert all water hoses into the fittings as described in the instructions.
