Handling
Never switch the devices on right away if they were brought from a cold area into a
warm area. The condensation developing as a result can sometimes destroy the
radio transmission set.
Let the switched-off devices adjust to room temperature. Wait for the conden-
sation to evaporate.
Power adapters may never be plugged or unplugged with wet hands.
Unplug the power adapter from the outlet during longer disuse.
Maintenance and care
Regularly examine the technical security of the radio transmission set, e.g. for
damage on the power adapters, lines, and housings.
If it has been determined that safe operation is no longer possible, then the devices
are to be taken out of operation and secured against unintentional operation. Remo-
ve the power adapter from the plug socket.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, if:
• equipment shows visible damage
• equipment does not work any longer
• after longer storage under unfavorable conditions, or
• after heavy transport stresses
