Mise en place de la chaîne
Prenez en compte pour choisir où placer l'appareil des caractéristiques des locaux,
comme par ex. de la proximité d'une prise de courant, etc. Prenez également en
compte qu'il faut absolument éviter un rayonnement direct du soleil, de fortes vibra-
tions, beaucoup de poussière, trop de chaleur, de froid ou d'humidité. De puissants
transformateurs ou moteurs ne doivent pas se trouver à proximité immédiate.
Placez l'appareil à un endroit stable et plan. Une circulation suffi-
sante de l'air autour de la chaîne doit être possible pour pouvoir
dégager la chaleur produite. Ne couvrez pas les orifices d'aéra-
tion de l'appareil. La non-observation de ces avertissements peut
avoir pour conséquence un endommagement de l'appareil. Ne
faites fonctionner l'appareil que quand celui-ci est en position
horizontale car autrement le lecteur de CD ne pourra pas

The TIMER OFF time can be set as described above.
Activating the Alarm Function
Switch the system to STANDBY mode. Press the TIMER key to activate the alarm
function. TIMER appears on the display.
At the programmed time, the TIMER switches on and off the CD or radio mode.
The function used before turn-off will be activated.
SLEEP Function
Press the SLEEP key to activate the SLEEP function. SLEEP and "90" briefly
appears on the display.
This means that there are 90 minutes left before the system turns off automatically.
Please hold the SLEEP key when activating the SLEEP function to modify the time
setting. The time setting can be modified in steps of 10 minutes.
5 seconds after the last setting, the display automatically switches back to the radio
or CD display. The desired time is set. Press again the SLEEP key to deactivate the
SLEEP function.
