The display lights if in CD mode if the random function (RANDOM) is activated.

The display lights if the sleep function (SLEEP) is activated.

(37) POWER key
Press key to turn on the device or to switch it to stand-by mode (STANDBY).

Press key to switch the system to CD mode.
(39) TUNER key
Press key to switch the system to radio mode.
(40) BAND key
Press key to select the FM or MW frequency range in radio mode.
(41) OPEN / CLOSE key
Press key to open or close the CD compartment in CD mode.

Function in radio mode: Press keys to call up a memorized station directly.
Function in CD mode: Press keys to select a track of the CD directly.
Numbers higher than 10 can be entered as follows: Press the key +10 and then the
respective second number. E.g. the number 11 is called up pressing the key +10 and
afterwards the key 1. The number 20 is entered pressing twice the key +10 and then
pressing the key 0.
During memorizing a radio station or programming a track sequence in CD
mode, the memory location or the track can be entered directly via the
numeric keyboard. It is not necessary to step forward in single steps via the
REPEAT / M-UP key or the
(43) RANDOM key
Press key in CD mode to call up the random play function (RANDOM). The tracks of
a CD are playing in a random sequence.
(44) REPEAT key
Function in CD-mode:
Press key when the CD is playing to call up the track repeat
function. You can repeat a single track or the whole CD.
Function in radio mode: Press key to call up a memorized radio station.

Activer la fonction réveil
Mettez l'appareil en veilleuse (STANDBY). La fonction réveil est activée en appuyant
sur la touche TIMER. L'indication TIMER apparaît sur le display.
Le TIMER met en marche et éteint l'appareil en mode lecture de CD ou radio à l'heu-
re désirée. La fonction activée avant la mise en veilleuse est mise en marche.
Fonction SLEEP
La fonction SLEEP (fonction pour s'endormir) est activée en appuyant sur la touche
SLEEP. Les indications SLEEP et "90" apparaissent brièvement sur le display. .
L'appareil resta allumé pendant 90 minutes et s'éteint automatiquement après ce
délai. Vous pouvez modifier la durée de temporisation en tenant appuyée la touche
SLEEP pendant l'activation de la fonction SLEEP. Le réglage peut être modifié en
étapes de 10 min.
5 secondes après le dernier réglage, le display repasse au mode radio ou lecture CD.
La durée de temporisation est mémorisée. La fonction SLEEP peut être désactivée
en appuyant à nouveau sur la touche SLEEP.
Télécommande
Presque toutes les fonctions de l'appareil sont également à disposition sur la télé-
commande.
Les fonctions des touches sont décrites au chapitre « ELEMENTS DE BRANCHE-
MENT ET DE REGLAGE ».
Pour plus de clarté, le réglage de l'appareil a été expliqué par l'utilisation des tou-
ches se trouvant sur l'appareil principal. Vous pouvez cependant régler l'appareil au
moyen des touches de la télécommande d'une manière encore plus confortable grâ-
ce à l'utilisation des 10 touches chiffres qui vous permettant une entrée directe des
places de mémorisation.
La lentille de réception à infrarouge (REMOTE SENSOR) de la micro chaîne CD se
trouve en haut à gauche.
Tenez la télécommande de manière à ce que le côté avant soit en face de la lentille
de réception de l'appareil principal.
