Intended Use
This detector for HF transmitters (range 1MHz to 6 GHz) is a portable device intended
for detecting, for example, wiretaps or wireless cameras.
They can be detected by using the LED display and the audible signal. The audible
signal can be deactivated, if desired. The device also has a socket for the head-
phones included in the delivery. When using the headphones delivered, the audible
signal is not emitted by the detector and can only be heard via the headphones.
The device is powered by 2 x 1.5V micro batteries (type: AAA).
The product must not get damp or wet.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and
involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. The safety instruction must
be followed at all times. No part of the product should be modified or reassembled.
The safety instructions are to be observed without fail!
Explanation of the Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger
of electric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during hand-
ling, operation and control.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

Safety Instructions

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to
observe these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for
any consequential damage!
We do not accept any liability for personal injury or damage to pro-
perty caused by incorrect handling or non-observance of the safety
instructions. The warranty will be null and void in such cases.
• The product must not be modified or converted, as not only the CE approval
will become void but also the warranty/guarantee.
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. It might disturb
the functioning of life-support equipment. The same may be the case in
other areas.
• Do not touch leaking or oxidised batteries with your bare hands. Use pro-
tective gloves.
• The device is powered by 2 x 1.5V micro batteries (type: AAA).
• The product should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sun-
light, intense vibrations, humidity or heavy mechanical stresses.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the product requires some time to
adjust to the surrounding temperature. Wait until the components have
adjusted to the ambient temperature before use.
• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• Please contact a qualified person, if you are unsure about the safety or the
correct use of the product.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic
film/bags etc. can be dangerous playthings for children; there is a risk of
suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible,
disconnect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent
operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not function any longer and
- the device has been stored under unfavourable conditions for a long
period of time or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the
Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and
Operating Materials are to be observed.
• The product must not get damp or wet.

Battery notes
• Batteries should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries (pay attention to
plus/+ and minus/–).
• Do not use rechargeable batteries with this product. The low voltage the results may
impair the proper operation.
• Do not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being
swallowed by children or domestic animals. If swallowed, consult a doctor imme-
diately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. For this
reason you should use suitable protective gloves.
• Make sure that the battery is neither short-circuited nor thrown into a fire. There is a
risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
• If the device is not to be used for a long time (e.g. storage) remove the batteries. Old
batteries may leak and cause damage to the product, which will lead to the loss of
the warranty/guarantee.
• For the proper disposal of batteries, please read the chapter „Disposal".

The battery status LED lights up if the battery voltage is low (=2.2V). This is a visible
indication that the batteries need to be replaced.
3) Status LEDs for reception level (green)
These LEDs represent visually the reception level. The more LEDs are lit up, the
stronger the HF reception and the closer a wireless device (e.g. wiretap, wireless
camera) is situated.

The audible signal is silenced when the delivered headphones are connected to the
„headphones socket" (8).
8) Headphones socket
• Ensure that no sources of magnetism or electro-magnetism or heat
sources are in the vicinity of the product.
• Do not expose the product to any mechanical stress. Falls from low
heights and pressure can damage the device.
• Never pour fluids out above electrical devices.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a
qualified specialist or a specialised repair shop.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please
contact our technical service or another specialist.
