• Switch the detector on, by moving the „operating mode selector switch" to the
desired position (for description, see section: „Product overview"). The detector is

• If a signal source is detected, the „status LED for reception level" (3) will light up and
the „audible signal" (7) will be heard (if it is activated; depending on operating
mode).
• When a higher sensitivity is needed, the can be adjusted using the „sensitivity con-
trol" (6).
• Move the „operating mode selector switch" (5) to the position „OFF", to avoid dis-
charging the batteries, if the device is not to be used for a while.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Apart from the occasional battery change, the device does not contain any serviceable
parts. Change the batteries when the „battery status LED (2) lights up. The „battery
status LED" lights up when there is a low battery voltage (=2.2V).
To clean the detector, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Clean the charging station very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do not use
any aggressive cleaning agents.
