• Turn the MASTER (12) and VOL (16) volume controls to zero before switching on the speaker (turn to the
left as far as it will go).
• Turn on the product using the POWER switch (21). The LED POWER indicator (14) turns on. Switch
position O: The device is turned off. Position I: The device is turned on.
• Turn the MASTER volume control clockwise so that you can adjust the audio signal volume to the
corresponding devices.
• Select the desired audio signal type for the sound output using the MP3 LINE switch (17): MP3 = Media
player / Line = Analogue signal (AUX IN).
• Insert the SD card and/or the USB stick into the corresponding slots (5, 6) if you have selected MP3.
• Control the volume of the active PA speaker using the VOL control (16) (turn clockwise to increase the
volume or anticlockwise to decrease the volume). The LED CLIP (15) turns on if the speaker is overloaded
at high volumes. If this happens, decrease the volume immediately to prevent damage to the speaker.
The LED CLIP will turn off as soon as the speaker is no longer overloaded.
The optimal performance of the device is reached when the control knob is at approximately
75% and the volume is set to the audio signal source using the signal amplification control.
• Adjust the microphone volume for a channel using the corresponding volume control (VOL (8)). Turn
clockwise to increase the volume or anticlockwise to decrease the volume. You cannot switch to the
audio signal from a microphone using the MP3 LINE switch. The microphone's audio signal always
depends on the selected setting and is mixed with the media player or line signal. The microphone signal
can be suppressed by turning the VOL control to the left as far as it will go.
Turn the microphone off when you are not using it to prevent unwanted feedback. Avoid using a
microphone directly in front of or in the immediate vicinity of the speaker when an audio signal
is being played.
• Adjust the sound of the audio signal using the equalizer controls for your model, the EQ TREBLE/BASS (7)
or the GRAPHIC EQUALIZER (7). Preset equalizer modes on the media player can be selected using the
remote control. Refer to "Remote control buttons" for more information.
