b) Remote control battery
Inserting/changing the remote control battery
• Insert the battery into the remote control before using it for the first time.
• If the remote control stops working or the range decreases, replace the battery with a battery of the
same type.
• Remove the battery holder on the bottom of the remote control. To do this, slide the lock on the end of the
battery holder in the direction of the arrow and then remove the battery holder.
• Insert a new 3 V CR2025 button cell battery with correct polarity into the battery holder (observe the
plus/+ and minus/- signs on the casing).
• Slide the battery holder with the newly inserted battery back into the correct position. Ensure that it
clicks into place properly.

12. Setup and operation

Only use the product when you have familiarised yourself with its features and these
operating instructions. Check that all connections are connected properly.
Do not use the product if it is damaged. Always turn off the active PA speaker before
connecting or disconnecting any devices. This will prevent interference (e.g. when turning
off an audio signal device such as a mixer), which can damage the speaker. The product
must only be operated by people who are familiar with the operating instructions. Keep other
people and children away from the speaker.
