• Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• A damaged mains cable may only be replaced by the manufacturer, a workshop commissioned
by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person, so as to prevent any danger.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• The mains plug must be unplugged from the mains socket to ensure that the device is
completely disconnected from the mains. It is not sufficient to turn the product off using the
power switch.
• Heat dissipation must not be impaired. Do not cover the ventilation slots or other cooling
elements. Air circulation should not be impaired by objects such as magazines, table clothes
and curtains. This prevents heat dissipation and can lead to overheating (fire hazard!).
• Do not place any open flames, such as burning candles, on or directly next to the device.
• Only use the product in temperate climates, not in tropical climates.
• Also pay attention to the additional safety information in the individual chapters of these
operating instructions.
• Ensure that you install the device properly. Follow the steps in these operating instructions.
• Anyone operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this device must be
suitably trained and qualified and observe these operating instructions.
• Do not place any magnetic storage media near the active PA speaker (e.g. disks or video
cassettes), as the speaker's magnetic field may destroy the files saved on the storage.
• Do not place the product directly next to screens, e.g. televisions or computer monitors. This
may distort the speaker's magnetic field.
• Only use the product on a stable surface that is not sensitive to heat. Always ensure that the
product sits securely on a stable surface. The speaker may cause serious injury if it falls off the
installation surface. The speaker must not be hung from handles or other fixtures.
• Ensure sufficient ventilation when setting up the device with other equipment.
• Never place the product directly next to sources of heat, e.g. a heater. Ensure that there is
sufficient distance between the product and sources of heat.
• Do not point any strong spotlights or light sources at the device. This may cause the device to
overheat (fire hazard!).
• The speakers may reach sound pressure levels (SPL) that can cause lasting hearing damage.
Do not directly expose your ears to a sound pressure level of more than 85 dBA for prolonged
periods.
• Do not listen to music at an excessive volume for prolonged periods. This may damage your
hearing.
