13. Controlling the media player using the remote
control
Instead of operating the device via the buttons on the back of the device, the media player can also be
controlled using the IR remote control included with the product. Please note the following points when
adjusting the volume.
• Before turning the speaker on, turn the MASTER (12) and VOL (16) controls to zero (turn to the left as far
as it will go).
• Turn on the active PA speaker using the POWER switch (21). The LED POWER indicator (14) turns on. The
media player is now switched on.
• Use the volume button on the remote control to set the media player volume to zero. V: 00 must be
shown on the display.
• Adjust the volume on the device by turning the MASTER (12) and VOL (16) controls clockwise as far as
they will go.

Function
Press and hold to turn the media player on/off. The
POWER switch (21) is turned on.
Press briefly to change the playback drive (only works
when both SD card and USB stick are inserted)
Switch between play and pause, restart playback after
STOP
Press to stop the current track.
Press to change the playback mode
RANDOM: Shuffle playback
ONE: Repeats the selected track in a loop until the
media player is turned off.
FOLDER: Repeats the tracks in a folder until the media
player is turned off.
ALL: Repeats all tracks on the drive until the media
player is switched off.
Previous track. (Includes tracks on both drives.)
Next track. (Includes tracks on both drives.)
