• The setup location must be fireproof, stable, level, non-slip and free from vibrations. The installation
surface should be able to withstand a point load that is at least 5 times higher in relation to the weight of
the product (e.g. 20 kg to 100 kg load capacity).
• The speaker must not be placed at a height of more than 100 cm without a support. The speaker can
be placed onto another speaker system by screwing the speaker to the speaker system with suitable
brackets to ensure that it will not fall off.
• The speaker must be placed at a distance of at least 3 m from people to prevent hearing damage. Secure
the area in front of the speaker to ensure that people do not get too close.
• The speaker has a handle on each side so that it can be carried by two people of the same height.
Speakers that weigh over 25 kg must be moved by two people. The speaker must not be carried by a
single person, as this can lead to back injuries.
• Position the speaker so that the sound output is facing the audience.

b) Satellite installation / Using a speaker stand

• The active PA speaker can be mounted on a speaker stand or wall mount using the mounting flange (24)
on the bottom of the product.
• Speaker stands must be placed on a level surface with a maximum incline of 5°.
• If the speaker may be exposed to horizontal forces, additional safety measures are required, e.g. place
weights on the feet of the speaker stand.
• When using outriggers to secure the active PA speaker, the installation zone must be marked out and
cordoned off.
• When working with telescopic stands, the radius of the working space that needs to be cordoned off
around the stand should be 1.5 times the maximum height.
• Extended telescopic rods must be secured with an additional lock.
• The maximum total weight of all components must never exceed the total distributed load of the
installation surface.
• Speaker stands must be placed out of the reach of people.
• The person responsible for setting up the speaker system must observe all national safety regulations
and safety information provided by the equipment manufacturer. He/she must also ensure that all
installation staff are suitably qualified.
• If staff need to work underneath the speaker system, suitable safety measures must be implemented to
prevent injuries. The installation staff must be familiar with the contents of the operating instructions and
the risks associated with the use of the speaker stands.
• All necessary measures must be taken to prevent the active PA speaker from falling off the stand,
including in the event of a fire.
• The speaker must only be installed on stable surfaces. Additional support measures may be required to
increase the stability of the surface. The dimensions of the installation materials must always ensure the
highest possible safety margin.
• When setting up other speakers (e.g. subwoofers), the speakers must be connected to each other using
a 35 mm spacer rod inserted into each mounting flange.
• Speaker systems on stands or satellite speakers may cause serious injury if they fall off. If the active
PA speaker is placed on a smooth surface, the speaker must be secured to the surface using screws or
nails, otherwise a non-slip surface must be used.
