1. Prescribed Use

The temperature sensor "S300 IA" enables precise measurement of the
temperature and the transmission via radio to a suitable weather station such
as the "WS 222", "WS 555" or "WS 444 PC".
The sensor itself is located at a distance of 1.5 m from the housing via a feed
cable and therefore enables readings of eg ground temperature, water
temperature or similar.
Due to radio transmission, the product can be located or installed up to 100m
(depending on local circumstances, see chapter "Notes on radio range") away
from the weather station.
The installation and operation is possible indoors (eg cellar, barn) as well as
outdoors.
Any use other than the one described above damages the product. Moreover,
this involves dangers such as e.g. short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc.
The entire product must not be changed or rebuilt, if this is the case, not only
will the guarantee/warrantee expire but also the license (CE).
All safety instructions and installation notes in this operating
instruction are to be observed by all means.
