Display lighting
The display can be lit up if you are working in a badly lit environment.
Press the button with the sun symbol (6) to switch this on. This light-
ing is automatically switched off after about 10 seconds in order to
avoid using up the batteries unnecessarily. If you press this button
again during this period, the lighting is switched off earlier.
„ΔREL" relative value measurements
In the case of a relative value measurement, the temperature display
is set to 0 degrees upon pressing the „ΔREL" button (7). The set
temperature point is now the reference value; „ΔREL" appears in the
display. You can now directly measure temperature changes. To
deactivate this mode, press the „ΔREL" button.
„°C/°F" conversion between measurement units
Degrees Celsius (°C) is the default measurement unit when the
device is switched on. To change this unit to Fahrenheit (°F), press
the „°C/°F" button (8). Pressing this button again switches between
measurement units.
Battery indicator
The battery display informs you of the current state of the battery.
The following displays must be observed:
Battery full, measurement can be carried out.
Two bars = half-full, measurement is possible.
The batteries are almost flat and should be replaced
as soon as possible. It is still possible to carry out
measurements.
The batteries are flat and must be replaced. It is
no longer possible to carry out measurements
correctly.

Réinitialisation aux réglages d'usine
Maintenez la touche « Soleil » (6) appuyée pendant
environ 2 secondes au moment de la mise en
marche, jusqu'à l'apparition du signal « SEt » à
l'écran.
Appuyez sur la touche « REL » pour sélectionner le
menu de calibrage.
Sélectionnez la sonde utilisée avec la touche « MAX
MIN AVG » et confirmez le réglage avec la touche «
°C/°F ».
Si aucune entrée n'est effectuée dans les 25
secondes suivantes, l'affichage passera automati-
quement à l'option de menu suivante.
Appuyez sur la touche « Soleil ».
Appuyez sur la touche « Soleil » pour activer les
réglages d'usine (RESeT = Réinitialiser).
Confirmez l'entrée (SURE = vraiment) avec la touche
« °C/°F ».
L'appareil effectue un redémarrage avec les para-
mètres préréglés et referme le menu.
