Commissioning
Before putting the product into operation, observe the
prescribed use as well as the safety instructions and
technical data.
Before commissioning, make sure that the device is
approved for the intended purpose.
By means of the Battery Tester, you can test all batteries and storage
batteries with a pole voltage of 1.2V up to 12V under load.

The Battery Tester allows an individual testing current for the different
battery types which can be set by means of the selector switch (2).
To test the batteries, proceed as follows:
Switch the Battery Tester ON by means of the operating switch (1).
• Set the lateral selector switch (2) to the respective position
according to the battery/storage battery type to be tested:
L = round cells R9, lithium round cells R9, 9V block batteries or 12V
round cells
M = round cells R6 (AA), round cells R03 (AAA)
H = round cells R14 (C), round cells R20 (D)
• Open the pole slider (6) and place the (storage) battery to be
tested onto the contact poles (4/5) as illustrated above. Please
observe the correct polarity.
• The voltage value of the battery/storage battery can be read from
the display (3).
• After the test, remove the tested battery and switch the Battery
Tester OFF.
• The tested batteries/storage batteries should be replaced, if the
detected pole voltage is approx. 0.3V lower than the indicated
nominal voltage.
