operating manual. Please read all the instructions before using this device,
they include important information on its correct operation.
• Starting and using the product should only be done taking into consideration the require-
ments mentioned in this manual.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation to the product is not
permitted.
• Only connect the power adaptor to a normal mains socket connected to the public supply.
Before plugging in the power adaptor, check whether the voltage stated on the power adaptor
complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
• The laser is still connected with the mains when it is switched off. To disconnect it completely
from the mains, the mains plug has to be pulled out of the socket.
• Never connect or disconnect power adaptors if your hands are wet.
• Never unplug the power unit from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use the
grips on the plug.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power unit from the mains socket during electrical storms.
• Adjustments or maintenance should only be carried out by trained professionals who are
aware of the dangers. Improperly executed adjustments might result in dangerous laser
radiation.
• When operating the laser equipment, always make sure that the laser beam is directed so
that no one is in the projection area and that unintentional refl ected beams (e.g., from refl ec-
tive objects) cannot be directed into areas where people are present.
• Attention - Remote viewing of the laser opening with optical instruments (i.e. with a telescope or
binoculars) may be hazardous to your eyes.
• Laser radiation can be dangerous, if the laser beam or its refl ection enters unprotected eyes.
Therefore, before using the laser equipment, familiarise yourself with the statutory regula-

• Never look into the laser beam and never point it at people or animals. Laser radiation can
cause eye injuries.
• Do not point the laser beam at mirrors or other refl ective surfaces. The uncontrolled, refl ected
beam may strike people or animals.
• Never leave the laser in operation unattended.
• If possible, restrict the range of radiation by using screens or partitions.
• Wherever possible, direct the laser in such a way that it does not cross eye level.
• Caution: if operation settings or procedures others than those described here in these
instructions are used, it could result in exposure to dangerous radiation.
• This product is provided with a Class 2M Laser.

devices and lasers.
• Inspect the laser unit from time to time for damage. Should the laser unit or the power supply
unit show any damage, disconnect them from the power supply (unplug the power supply
unit). Do not use the product afterwards, instead take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never pour out liquids above electrical devices and never leave objects (e.g. vases) fi lled with
liquids on them or in their vicinity. You run the risk of causing a fi re or a fatal electric shock. If
liquids enter the device, immediately disconnect it from the power supply, unplug the power
supply unit from the mains and consult an expert.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or sprayed water, strong vibrations
or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not place open fl ames, such as burning candles, on or close to the device.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything for children.
