Select the Temperature Unit °C/°F
To set the desired temperature unit, °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit), select it using the switch
(9) on the back of the device.

Display Description

The left-hand display, marked "Fridge" and "T1", shows you the refrigerator temperature. The
right-hand display, marked "Freezer" and "T2" (6), shows you the freezer temperature.
Temperature Alarm
- Using the alarm switch (7) on the side of the thermometer, you can turn on and off a fl ashing
LED alarm (5) or a beep with Alarm.
- Thus, as soon as the temperature rises above or falls below the preset temperature values,
an LED alarm or a beep with LED alarm is triggered.
- The preset temperature range for the refrigerator is 0° to +8° degrees Celsius or +32° to
+46° Fahrenheit. The preset temperature range for the freezer is -40° to -18° degrees Cel-
sius or -40° to 0° Fahrenheit.
- As soon as the temperature passes outside these values, the set alarm starts and the display
fl ashes the symbol"
".
- If the alarm is triggered, the LED alarm fl ashes continuously.
- The acoustic beep alarm sounds 6 times every 5 seconds. After a pause of ca. 30 seconds,
the alarm beeps again.
Alarm Time Display
- If the temperature is outside the preset range for longer than 30 minutes, the warning symbol
"
" is shown in the display permanently.
- In this case, press the button "
& MAX" (2) and, in addition to the MAX temperature, the
time the temperature has been outside the range will be displayed.
- The maximum time you will be shown in this display is 99 hours and 59 minutes.
- Choose between the values for the refrigerator or by pressing and holding the button "
MAX" (2) the values for the freezer .
- To clear permanent warning symbols with the alarm duration from the display, proceed in the
same way as described in the section "Deleting the MIN / MAX Temperature".
MIN/MAX Temperature Display
If you have not set an alarm, you can check the minimum and maximum temperature of the
refrigerator and freezer yourself. To do this, proceed as follows:
- Press the button"
& MAX" (2) briefl y, and on the left-hand display the highest measured
temperature for the refrigerator (MAX) will be displayed and on the right-hand display the
lowest measured temperatures for the refrigerator (MIN) will be displayed. "T1" on the display
indicates the values for the refrigerator.
- This display will be activated for 5 seconds, after which it jumps back to the normal tempera-
ture mode.
- Press the button"
& MAX" (2) twice, and on the left-hand display the highest measured
temperatures for the freezer (MAX) will be shown and on the right-hand display the lowest
measured temperatures for the freezer (MIN) will be shown. "T2" on the display indicates the
values for the freezer.
Deleting the MIN/MAX Temperature
- Press the button "
& MAX" (2) to select either the MAX / MIN values for the refrigerator or
for the freezer.
- Next, press the button "C" (3) and the values will be deleted.
- Press the button "
& MAX" (2) again and you will see the most recent measured tempera-
tures in the display.
Maintenance and Care
Apart from replacing the battery, the device requires no maintenance. Only clean the exterior of
the device with a soft, dry cloth or a small brush.
Never use caustic cleaning agents or chemical solutions, as they could damage the surface
of the case.
Do not press on the sensitive display surface.
Disposal
Device
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regu-
lations.
Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used bat-
teries/rechargeable batteries. Disposal in the domestic waste is prohibited!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with
the following symbols. You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of
charge to any collecting point of your local authority, to our stores or to any other
store where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold!
