Operating the watch
Press any key for approx. 1 second and the time will be displayed.
While in time display, press the „MODE" button to display the date.
Press the „MODE" key again to display the current year.
Press the „MODE" button a third time to return to the time display.
If no key is pressed within 5 seconds, the display goes out auto-
matically.
Setting the display brightness
The display can be adjusted to 6 brightness levels.
To adjust the brightness press the „ADJ" button several times while in time display.
On the left side of the display the currently set brightness level will be displayed (via
5 LEDs).
Press the „MODE" or the „SET" key to save the settings.
Replacing the Battery
The battery should only be replaced by a professional (watchmaker).
They have the necessary knowledge as well as the necessary equipment
required to change the battery.
• Open the battery compartment lid on the rear
side of the device by removing the housing
screws.
• Remove the flat battery and insert a button cell
battery, of type CR2032 3V/DC, with the
correct polarity.
• Replace the battery compartment cover and
secure it with the screws that were removed
before.
Maintenance and cleaning
To clean the outside of the watch, a dry, soft, clean cloth is sufficient. For heavier
soiling of the exterior, you can moisten the cloth slightly with lukewarm water.
Clean the watch very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do not press too strongly
on the glass cover as this may cause scratch marks.
Disposal
a) General Information
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.
b) Batteries and accumulators
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used
batteries/rechargeable batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is pro-
hibited!
Batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with the symbols
shown to the left. These symbols also indicate that disposal of these
batteries in the household waste is prohibited. The designations for the
heavy metals involved are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
Used batteries, rechargeable batteries as well as coin cells can be returned
to collection points in your municipality, our stores or wherever
batteries/rechargeable batteries/coin cells are sold!
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the
environment!
