8. External Power Unit / Recharging the Battery
The enclosed power unit can also be used as an alternative to batteries.
Only use the power unit included in delivery.
Always switch off the device before connecting the power unit
The power unit has been constructed according to protection class II and may only be operated on a socket for the public supply grid.
• Plug the low-voltage plug of the power unit into the DC IN socket (1).
• Plug the power supply into the wall socket.
• When the power unit is connected, the inserted battery is charged and the charging display (21) lights up.
• When the rechargeable battery is fully charged, the charging indicator (21) goes out again.
The battery is also charged if a computer is connected to the USB socket (5).

9. Inserting an SD Card

• Switch the device off (Press the On/Off switch (2) until the device switches off).
• Open the rubber cover at the bottom of the device and insert a SD card in the card slot.
• Close the cover again.
