12. Operation
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE (17) or RECORD (15) button to start the recording.
• The RECORD (15) button is lit permanently during the recording.
• The large time indication at the top left of the display shows the current duration
of the recording.
• The small time indication at the top right of the display shows the remaining
duration of the recording.
The remaining duration of the recording depends on the remaining free
storage space of the inserted SD card.
• You can also influence the recording level during recording using the INPUT (4)
control.
If you are using the integrated microphones for recording, buttons being pressed during recordings can be audible.
Every push of a button or touch of the casing can lead to interfering noises in the recording. Therefore, it is recommended to make any settings before
the actual recording and to then set up the recorder on a tripod that can be screwed to the tripod thread at the back of the casing.
If recording a WAV file, you can mark the file with a marker. For this, just press the Forwards (20) button during playback. The display shows „MARKER
xx (20). A maximum of 20 markers can be set.
If you want to start a new file during recording, press the Back (19) button until the new file name appears.
