Initial operation

Inserting the accumulator pack

• Slide the rubber holster off the device starting on the bottom.
• Place the device with the display side down onto a soft surface and unfold the handle.
• Loosen the two accumulator compartment screws on the side and remove them.
• Take both covers off the device.
• Insert the two accumulator packs into the accumulator compartment observing the right polarity.
Observe of the polarity markings in the compartment.
• Close the casing again in reverse order.

Mains/charge operation

You can operate and charge the accumulators with the enclosed power pack unit.
• Connect the low-voltage plug of the power pack unit with the round DC socket for the power pack unit
on the side („AC Power Adapter"). Make sure it is plugged properly.
• Connect the mains cable with the power pack unit and an outlet.

Switch on/off

• To turn the device on, press the POWER button and keep it depressed for approx. 2 seconds.
• After activation, the device performs a self-test This test screen shows the model and the version
number. After approx. 2 seconds, the device switches to the last set oscilloscope or multimeter oper-
ation.
• To turn the device off, press the POWER button and keep it depressed for approx. 2 seconds.

Operation

In multimeter operation, the device is operated via the buttons.
In oscilloscope operation, the functions are selected via the buttons, the parameters via the jog shuttle
wheel with button function. If a parameter was selected, you have to confirm it by pressing on the jog
shuttle wheel.
Select the desired measuring function via the following buttons:
SCOPE
METER
F1 - F4
USER
Oscilloscope mode
Multimeter mode
Software buttons; the display shows the corresponding functions variably
depending on the measuring mode.
User-specific settings (contrast, time, date) as well as selection of special math-
ematical measuring functions in oscilloscope mode.
