Intended use

The digital handheld oscilloscope is a combination of a digital multimeter and a digital memory oscillo-
scope. It serves to measure and display electric parameters in the range of excess voltage category III
up to max. 600V against ground potential, pursuant to EN 61010-1 or lower. There are 2+1 independent
input channels available for measurement. The oscilloscope is connected via BNC sockets, on the mul-
timeter via 4 mm safety sockets.
It serves to measure the following electric parameters:
Multimeter:
AC and DC voltage as true effective value measuring (TrueRMS) up to 600 V CAT III
Resistance measuring up to 60 MOhm
Capacity measuring up to 300 μF
Diode test
Oscilloscope:
AC and DC voltage up to 300 V CAT III
Frequency measuring up to 20MHz bandwidth
The measured signals can be saved and processed via MiniUSB interface or USB host. Simultaneous
operation of the MiniUSB interface and the USB host is not possible.
The device is controlled via screen menus with buttons and a rotary dial with button function.
The measuring voltages indicated on the device must never be exceeded. If applicable, use contact
probes. You may only connect fully insulated measuring accessories. Standard contact probes are not
admissible.
The maximum measuring voltage may not exceed 300 Volt on the BNC sockets and 600 Volt on the
safety measuring sockets. If these values are exceeded, the device may be damaged and the user's
safety is impaired.
The device can be operated with the enclosed accumulator packs or for a longer measuring period with
the enclosed power pack unit with mains voltage from 100 to 240V. For safety reasons you may only use
the enclosed power pack unit for mains operation.
The measuring instrument must not be operated when it is open, i.e. with an open accumulator com-
partment or when the accumulator compartment cover is missing.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the risk of
short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
Measuring in damp rooms or under unfavourable ambient conditions is not admissible.
Unfavourable ambient conditions are:
- Wetness or high air humidity
- Dust and flammable gases, vapours or solvent,
- Thunderstorms or similar conditions such as strong electrostatic fields etc.
