Measuring in SCOPE mode

• Switch the handheld oscilloscope on via the POWER button.
• Select oscilloscope operation via the button „SCOPE".
• Connect the enclosed contact probe with the top BNC socket „CH A". If you want to perform a 2-
channel measuring operation, also establish contact with the socket „CH B".
• The channel parameters, e.g. beam position, AC/DC coupling, amplitude etc. can be selected via the
buttons F1/F2 for the respective channel.
• Connect the contact probe with the measuring signal.
• Press the button „AUTO". The parameters are set automatically for optimum signal display.
• After measuring, remove the contact probes from the measuring signal and turn the measuring
device off.

Measuring in METER mode

• Switch the handheld oscilloscope on via the POWER button.
• Select multimeter operation via the button „METER".
• Connect the enclosed safety measuring cables with the sockets „COM" and „V". Observe the
coloured markings. With DC measuring operations, the red socket corresponds to the positive poten-
tial.
• Select the desired measuring function with the "F1/F2" button. For voltage measuring, press „F1" (for
the resistance range „F2". In the resistance range you can select additional functions like diode test,
continuity check and capacity measuring with the button „F1").
• With „F1", select the measuring mode (DC/AC). Each press switches the function.
• Connect the measuring prods to the measuring signal.
• The measuring device is is auto range and displays the measuring value.
• After measuring, remove the measuring tips from the measuring signal and turn the measuring
device off.
