recycled. Please do not throw
the packaging material into
household waste; please send it
for recycling.
Old appliances contain valuable
materials that can be recycled;
these should be sent for recy-
cling. Batteries, oil, and similar
substances must not enter the
environment. Please dispose of
your old appliances using appro-
priate collection systems.

 This appliance is suitable for commer-
cial use.
 The hedge trimmer is only suitable for
branches with a maximum diameter of
33 mm.
 The hedge trimmer is only suitable for
cutting plants.
 Modifications and changes that are not
authorised by the manufacturer are pro-
hibited for safety reasons.
 The hedge trimmer is suitable for out-
door use.
 Never use the hedge trimmer in a wet
environment or in the rain.
Any other use is prohibited. The user is liable for
any hazards arising from improper use.
DANGER
Risk of fatal injury from cut injuries! Re-
move the rechargeable battery from the de-
vice for all preparatory work. Do not remove
the blade guard until immediately before
carrying out work.

Insert the battery

NOTICE
Only use completely charged batteries.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage to the hedge trimmer and
the rechargeable battery. Check the battery
holder and contacts for soiling before use,
and clean them as necessary.
 Push the battery into the retainer until it
audibly snaps into place.
