Levelflex M FMP40, FMP45 with divisible rod probe
The probe parts have to be mounted on site. If there is not enough space to install the pre-mounted probe it is necessary to insert the probe parts
into the process vessel and screw it together one after another. In this case it is recommend to enlist the assistance of someone.

After mounting and connection the device, it is necessary to specify the probe length and a mapping has to be made.
This can easily be done in an empty tank, then the Levelflex detects the exacte length automatically.
Please follow the instructions in the Operating Manual chapter basic setup with VU331 or FieldCare.

The following tools are required for mounting the rod parts:
• Allen key AF5 mm
• Wrench AF14 mm
• Torque wrecch AF14 mm, 15 Nm
Instructions:
1 Screw the threaded bolt into one of the probe parts.
2 Slide the Nordlock washers over the threaded bolt. Optionally secure it with an adhesive tape.
3 Screw the next probe part on the thread.
4 If used, remove the adhesive tape.
5 Fasten the thread (torque 15 Nm).
Repeat this procedure for the following probe parts.
