Attention. Glue the display holder on the dashboard to avoid limitation
of potential dismantling and re-fitting of the A-pillar panel. Before
gluing the display holder check whether the selected position does not
collide with other parts of the vehicle.
- Place the display (K) on the holder.

Control unit and its placement as per the vehicle type
- 7, 8 -
- Wrap the control unit (A) with a protective sealing tape (X) approximately as shown on the
picture.
- Insert terminal boards and pins of individual parts of the handsfree set into relevant termi-
nal boards and sockets in the control unit (L - wire from the display holder, N - microphone
pin, F - jumper pin (radio - control unit), F1 - AUX jumper pin, B - terminal board from the
electric installation connecting harness).
Advice. Before connecting the wires into the control unit check
whether all wires are correctly routed.
- Secure the pins from the wires (N and F) with a locking pin (T).
- Tighten all the wires towards the terminal board from the connecting electric installation
harness (B) and fasten it with the tightening tape -arrow-.
Placement of the control unit - vehicles ŠKODA Roomster, Fabia and Fabia Combi
- Insert the control unit into the free space behind the central bracket panel.
Placement of the control unit - vehicles ŠKODA Octavia, Octavia Combi and Yeti
- Place the control unit on the left side (in the direction of the drive) of the instrument carrier,
approximately as shown on the picture. Fasten it to the instrument carrier with two tighte-
ning tapes -arrows-.
- Place the tightening tapes not to obstruct re-fitting of the radio/navigation.
- When fastening the control unit make sure not to jam the wires between the control
unit and the instrument carrier.
Placement of the control unit - vehicles ŠKODA Citigo
- Place the control unit partially under the carpet near the dashboard brackets (to fasten
the central dashboard section). Fix the control unit to the dashboard brackets by means of
tightening tapes -arrows-.
- Run the tightening tape through the opening in the control unit stalk -detail- and fasten it
to the bracket.

- Insert the control unit into the free space behind the opening for the radio.
