1. General
Following these operating instructions will ensure that the
unit runs trouble free. Always use the cleaning and service
products recommended for the TW 1250. Problems often
arise and poor cleaning and care results frequently occur
because unsuitable cleaning and service products are used.
Unpack your TW 1250 and compare the various parts with
the pictures on page 3.
2. Application
The standard TW 1250 model is designed for use as a carpet
cleaner.
Using optional accessories the TW 1250 can also be used
for:
cleaning upholstery (with upholstery tool / optional

accessory)
Wet cleaning hard floors (with hard floor tool, optional

accessory)
3. Preparations for using the machine /
Operation
Before operating the TW 1250:
Remove plants and furniture from the room.

Vacuum clean the carpets thoroughly.
●
Heavy contamination with Pretreat stain remover.
●
Only use cleaning agents recommended by the manuf-
acturer. The recommended cleaning agents have been
specially developped and tested for carpet cleaning.

Assembly and application:

1. Fresh water tank (1) with warm water (50 ° C) and deter-
gent up to 5 cm below the rim fill. (Detergent required by
the manufacturer's label on the label).

7. Before using the unit always make sure that the carpets
to be cleaned are color-fast. To test color-fastness of
the carpet put a little amount of the carpet cleaning
agent onto a white cloth and rub onto the carpet in
hidden corner.
If the carpet is not color-fast the white cloth will stain.

d. For a thorough cleaning pull the carpet tool (Z) slowly.
To reduce the drying time of the carpet pass over the
already cleaned line but without pulling the trigger of the
valve (X).
e. When no more cleaning solution exits the spraying jet
immediately switch-off the unit.
Empty the dirty water tank and re-fill with clean water
and cleaning solution to continue carpet extraction.
9. After finishing carpet extraction turn both switches off.
Empty clean and dirty water tank. Re-fill clean water
tank with water only. Switch-on both vacuum and
pump. Pull the trigger of the valve (X) and let the clean
water rinse the hoses inside the unit and also the pump.
Empty all tanks and clean the units with a damp cloth.
10. Before removing the spraying hose pull the triggfer
shortly to relieve pressure from the hose. Gently pull the
plastic ring on the quick connector and remove the
spraying hose.
11. To ensure fast drying of your carpets open the windows
and doors.
8. Spray extraction process:
a. Switch-on vacuum switch
(10). then pump switch (11).
b. By pressing the handle of
the valve (X) water and
cleaning solution is sprayed
onto the carpet.
The dirt inside the carpet is
rinsed to the top of the
carpet and immediate ly
vacuumed (Z).
The spraying pressure of the
TW 1250 can be changed as
required. Set the pressure
using the pressure control
valve (16). The set pressure is
indicated on the manometer
(15) during spraying.
c. Whilst pulling the valve (X)
gently pull the carpet tool
over the carpet. At the end
of a line release the trigger
and lift the tool from the
carpet. Start a new line by
slightly overlapping by 2 to
3 cm.
