The base plate should be made from stainless steel, with a Rockwell hardness of 42.
The surfaces "X" must be even and in parallel (0.25 mm).

CAUTION
Never load in a direction opposite to the load direction
specified (see arrow on the load introduction front of the
load cell). This would cause measurement errors and the
damage of the mounting bolts. If load direction is correct,
the load cell output signal is positive.
Load cells are to be clamped in tightly at the mounting
bores - like a cantilever beam. Later, the load will be
introduced at the other end. The following table contains
all recommended bolts and torques:
