2. Operation
Attention! Only operate the tool with both hands, always hold the thrust
handle (1) and machine handle (2) tightly. Note the reaction torque of
the drive machine!
Set the direction ring (3) to cable thrust (arrow up). Press the push-
button switch slowly so that the drum turns. Turn the thrust handle (1)
clock wise until the pipe cleaning cable pushes forward automatically.
Push the pipe cleaning cable forward about 20 cm and insert in the
pipe to be cleaned. Do not tighten the thrust spindle too tight other wise
the pipe cleaning cable may block and damage the device. Keep a
maximum distance of 20 cm between the end of the pipe/drain and the
thrust housing. If the distance is too great the pipe cleaning cable may
loop (danger of injury). Reduce the speed if you encounter resistance.
Only push the pipe cleaning cable forward to an extent that at least 2
windings remain in the drum when cleaning. If the pipe cleaning cable
is pushed further forward, the motor can no longer retract the cable.
The pipe cleaning cable must then be pushed back about 50 cm by
hand. Then the automatic return starts working again.
After clearing the blockage, set the direction ring (3) to return (arrow
down). Keep a distance of at least 20 cm between the end of the pipe/
drain and the thrust housing. If the pipe cleaning cable protrudes from
the end of the pipe/drain, shut down the drive machine immediately.
Attention! The club head moulded to the pipe cleaning cable may not
get into the thrust gear. The drive machine otherwise blocks abruptly
and the thrust gear, club head and pipe cleaning cable are destroyed.

be performed by authorised experts or by trained personnel.
The motor of the drive machine has carbon brushes. These are subject
to wear and must therefore be inspected respectively replaced from
time to time by an authorised ROLLER after-sales service facility.
