must be filed down using a flat file. The
depth limitation should be set back ap-
proximately 0.65 mm compared to the
cutting tooth. After filing the depth limita-
tion down, round it off by slightly sliding
forward.
• The chain has become worn down and
must be replaced by a new saw chain
when only around 4 mm of the cutting
tooth remains.
• Adjust the transparent cover regularly
in order to compensate for wear on the
grinding disc (see chapter „Initial start-
up").
Maintenance and
cleaning
Disconnect the plug before adjust-
ment, maintenance or repair.
Have any work not described
in these instructions carried
out by a specialist workshop.
Use only original components.
Allow the equipment to cool
before carrying out any main-
tenance and cleaning work.
There is a risk of burns.
Before each use, check the equipment for
obvious defects such as loose, worn or dam-
aged components and check that screws or
other parts are sitting correctly. In particular,
check the grinding disk (
damaged parts.
Cleaning
Do not use cleaning agents or sol-
vents. Chemical substances may
attack plastic parts of the equipment.
Never clean the equipment under
running water.

Changing the grinding disc

Ensure that the rotation speed sta-
ted on the grinding disc is the same
or higher than the nominal rotation
speed of the device.
Ensure that the disc dimensions
match those of the device.

Switch off the equipment and dis-
connect from the mains.
Allow the equipment to cool.
Use the tools included in delivery
to change the grinding disc (see
Fig. 1 nos. 23 + 24 + 25).
1. Unscrew the grinder housing. To do
this, remove the fixing bolt, washer and
nut (19).
