Scope of delivery

Unpack the device and check to see that
it is complete.
Dispose of the packaging material pro-
perly.

Setting up

1. Place the device on a stable, level
base.
Ensure that you have sufficient space
in which to work, and that you do not
endanger other people.
2. Use two screws to fix the device to
the worktop. When doing so, the grin-
ding device and the rotary table with
the saw chain fixing must protrude
over the edge of the table.
Adjusting the transparent
cover
1. Undo the fixing bolts for the transpa-
rent cover (see Fig. 1, no. 6).
2. Adjust the transparent cover (see
Fig. 1, no 8) so that the distance
between it and the grinding disc is not
more than 2 mm.
3. Retighten the fixing bolts.
Working with the
device
Only switch the device on once
it is safely fixed to the worktop.
Only use accessory parts which
are recommended in this manual.

Check the grinding disc before
using it: never use broken-off,
cracked or otherwise damaged
grinding discs.
Risk of injury!
Wear ear, eye and hand protection!
When working with the saw chain,
wear cut resistant gloves and an
apron if necessary, to avoid inci-
sion injuries.
Keep hands away from the grinding
disk and chain teeth when the equip-
ment is in use. Do not move the chain
by hand. There is a risk of injury.

Switching on and off

Ensure that the mains voltage
matches the specifications on the
rating plate.
Ensure that the on/off switch (see Fig.1,
no. 2) is switched off (setting "0") when
you plug the mains plug into the socket.
Connect the equipment to the mains.
1. To switch on, press the "I" On switch
(green) and the device starts up (see
1a).
2. To switch off, press the "0" Off switch
(red) and the device switches off (see
1b).
The disk will continue to
run after the equipment is
switched off. There is a risk
of injury.
