When connected to an HDMI-compatible device

Problem
Picture is not displayed.
Sound is not produced or is
distorted.
Multichannel audio signals
are not output.
Colors are not properly
displayed on TV screen.

When an iPod/iPhone/iPad is connected

Problem
Can't operate the iPod/iPhone/iPad by the remote control.
Can't operate the iPod/iPhone/iPad.

Is the resolution properly set?
Is the HDMI cable properly
connected?
Is HDMI Out properly set?
Is HDMI Out properly set?
Is HDMI Color properly set?
Remedy
Set HDMI Resolution properly for the connected device (page 33).
Restore HDMI Resolution to the default setting (720x576p)
(page 33).
Connect the cable securely (all the way in).
With some cables, 1080p video signals will not be output.
Set HDMI Out to LPCM (2CH) or Auto (page 33).
Set HDMI Out to Auto (page 33).
Change the HDMI Color setting (page 33).
Remedy
Make sure the iPod/iPhone/iPad is connected correctly (refer to
Connecting your iPod/iPhone/iPad on page 18).
Make sure the iPod/iPhone/iPad is connected correctly (refer to
Connecting your iPod/iPhone/iPad on page 18).
If the iPod/iPhone/iPad is experiencing a hangup, try resetting the
iPod/iPhone/iPad, and reconnect it to the unit.
