To transfer the configuration file to your workstation, follow the
procedure below:
1. Launch the FTP client on your workstation.
2. Type "open" and the IP address of your router. Then type "root" and
SMT password as requested.
3. Locate the 'rom-0' file.
4. Type 'get rom-0' to back up the current router configuration to your
workstation.
For details on FTP commands, please consult the documentation of your FTP
client program. For details on backup using TFTP (note that you must
remain in the menu to back up using TFTP), please see your router manual.

11.2.2 Verwenden des FTP-Befehls aus dem DOS-Prompt
1.
Starten Sie den FTP-Client auf Ihrem Computer.
2.
Geben Sie "open" und dann die IP-Adresse Ihres Prestige ein.
3.
Drücken Sie [EINGABE], wenn Sie zur Eingabe eines Benutzernamens aufgefordert werden.
4.
Geben Sie "root" und Ihr SMT-Kennwort ein. Letzeres ist werksseitig auf 1234 gestellt.
5.
Geben Sie "bin" ein, um den Übertragungsmodus auf binär zu stellen.
6.
Verwenden Sie "get", um Dateien vom Prestige auf Ihren Computer zu übertragen, zum Beispiel
überträgt der Befehl "get rom-0 config.rom" die Konfigurationsdatei des Prestige auf Ihren
Computer und benennt sie in "config.rom" um. Weitere Informationen zum Thema
Dateinamenskonventionen finden Sie weiter vorne in diesem Kapitel.
7.
Geben Sie "quit" ein, um die FTP-Meldung zu velassen.
