If you wish to use solid fat, cut it into small pieces and place them into the bowl. Put the
timer in "ON" position and turn the temperature knob to its minimum position. Each time
the pilot light goes out, turn the temperature knob to a slightly higher temperature until all
the fat has melted. Once all the fat has melted, set the temperature knob to the desired
cooking temperature. This type of fat will solidify when the appliance cools down.
Your appliance must never be switched on through an external timer or any kind of
separate remote control system.
Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any

person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.
BEFORE USE
When the fryer is new, the force of the lid spring is quite strong. After the fryer has been
used 10-15 times, the spring force will reduce. This is quite normal.
Remove all packaging from the unit.
Before you use the deep fat fryer for the first time, we recommend that you clean the lid,
bowl, basket, handle and jacket of the deep fat fryer with warm soapy water with a soft
cloth. This will remove any residue left from the manufacture of this unit. See "Cleaning"
section.
DISASSEMBLING THE DEEP FAT FRYER
Stand the appliance on a dry horizontal surface.
Open the lid by pressing its opening button.
Raise the handle and remove the basket.
The bowl can also be removed to facilitate cleaning. Caution: wait until the oil or the
grease has totally cooled down before taking the bowl out of the appliance. If you are
using grease, use a plastic or wooden spatula to remove it in order not to damage the
coating of the bowl.
ASSEMBLING THE DEEP FAT FRYER
Stand the appliance on a dry horizontal surface.
Insert the bowl correctly in the appliance. If the bowl is not placed correctly, the
appliance will not work properly.
Place the handle into the slot on the front of the fryer. Pull the handle release button
towards you and swing the handle down. This will allow you to lower the basket
completely into the bowl. To raise the basket, proceed inversely.
FIRST USE
When using the appliance for the first time, pour the required amount of oil into the bowl,
making sure that the level is between the MIN and MAX marks indicated inside the bowl.
We recommend that you use liquid oil that is suitable for deep fat frying. Check the label
on the bottle. If you wish to use a solid fat, cut the fat into small pieces. Plug in the
appliance, put the thermostat on the lowest position, switch on the appliance with the
timer and add the pieces of fat slowly. When the fat has melted, set the thermostat to the
desired temperature to fry your foodstuffs. WARNING: FAILURE TO OBSERVE THIS WILL
DAMAGE YOUR DEEP FAT FRYER.

and folded in order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm
width x 210 mm height). When folding, make sure you
keep the good numbering when you turn the pages of

language integrity.
