Standing Installation; Operation - EuroLite SFC-100 Bedienungsanleitung

IMPORTANT! OVERHEAD RIGGING REQUIRES EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE, including (but not limited to)
calculating working load limits, installation material being used, and periodic safety inspection of all
installation material and the device. If you lack these qualifications, do not attempt the installation yourself,
but instead use a professional structural rigger. Improper installation can result in bodily injury and or
damage to property.
The device has to be installed out of the reach of people.
The device must never be fixed swinging freely in the room.
Caution: Devices in hanging installations may cause severe injuries when crashing down! If you have
doubts concerning the safety of a possible installation, do NOT install the device!
Before rigging make sure that the installation area can hold a minimum point load of 10 times the device's
weight.
The device must be installed in an absolutely horizontal position.
Always install the device via all fixation holes.
Do only use appropriate screws and make sure that the screws are properly connected with the ground.
Procedure:
Step 1: Remove the clamp rings and longer fixation screws from the packaging.
Step 2: On the clamp rings, there are holes for the installation.
Step 3: Hold the clamp rings onto the location where the device is to be installed.
Step 4: Mark the boreholes with a pen or a suitable tool and drill the holes.
Step 5: Fix the clamp rings with the fixation screws and clamp the effect tube into the rings.

Standing installation

Remove the smaller fixation screws from the packaging and screw the four feet onto the base.
Only install the base on scratch resistant surfaces.
This base is constructed for a standing installation only.
Place the effect tube with the power cord end into the base, inserting the power cord into the designated slot.
Before taking into operation for the first time, the installation has to be approved by an expert!

OPERATION

Connect the fixture to the mains with the power-plug.
With the POWER-switch, you can switch the device on and off.
If the SFC-100 Effect Tube shows any kind of inner or outer damage, for example deep scratches, splintered
tube or cable/plug damage, then any further use is forbidden. If the SFC-100 Effect Tube shows any kind of
damage during use, then the stick must not be touched and must be disconnected from the mains as well as
unplugged from the mains socket. A damaged SFC-100 Effect Tube must not be repaired with tape or similar
resources. It must be either disposed of according to local environmental regulations or taken to a
professional for repairs.
