P The oil radiator becomes very hot. Never touch the surface while the appliance is in
operation.
P Never touch the appliance while in the shower or bath.
P Never immerse the appliance in water.
P Make sure the appliance is never set up in the open air or in proximity to water (swim-
ming pool, pond etc.). Do not touch it if your hands are moist or wet.
P The oil radiator may not be set up and operated in environments in which acids,
vapours, explosive or flammable gases are present.
P Observe the specified safety distances when setting up the appliance. Keep a safety
distance of min. 90 cm to all sides and to flammable materials (furniture, curtains etc.).
Never set up the appliance on a long-pile carpet.
P Only operate the appliance with the power cord fully rolled out. Never wind the power
cord around the appliance. Make sure that the power cord does not come into contact
with hot surfaces. Route the cable so that nobody can trip over it. Position the appliance
so that the power plug is accessible at all times.
P Never cover the appliance so as to avoid overheating. It is important to make sure that
the air inlet and air outlet openings are are always freely accessible.
P Do not use this heater with a program switch, time switch or
any

device
otherwise there is a risk of fire if the heater is covered or incorrectly setup

Preparing the Product for Operation
2.1
Unpacking the scope of supply
Check whether the scope of supply is complete and free of defects immediately after open-
ing the packaging. Contact the seller immediately if the scope of supply is incomplete or
defective. Do not put the appliance into operation if it is defective.
2.2
Keeping the original packaging
Keep the original packaging in a safe place over the entire service life of the product. Use
the packaging for storing and transporting the appliance. Only dispose of the packaging
after the product service life has come to an end. You can find information on the proper
disposal in Chapter 8.
2.3
Setting up the appliance
Take the radiator and accessories out the box.
1. Place the radiator upside down.
2. Position the feet between the first and last heating rib.
3. Fasten the feet using the enclosed cap nuts.
