Overheating protection
A bimetal will trigger if the max. permissible operating temperature is exceeded. The appli-
ance switches back to a lower heating stage. It does not switch off completely in this case.
Anti-tipping device
If the appliance is knocked over while operating, the radiator will automatically switch off.
The appliance only functions in an upright position.
Thermal fuse
The thermal fuse trips in the event of an electrical overload (> 16 A) or a thermal overload (>
140 °C). The appliance switches off completely. The fuse is defective and must be replaced.
