    Unmittelbar nachdem das Gerät mit Spannung versorgt wurde, schaltet es sich ein. Wenn ein Sensor angeschlossen wurde, erscheint der aktuelle Messwert. Sollte kein Sensor angeschlossen sein, erscheint auf dem Display „00,0“ bei den Versionen PCE-WSAC 50-A2C (Signaleingang 0…10 V) bzw. „Err“ bei den Versionen PCE-WSAC 50-A1C (Signaleingang 4…20 mA).

    Werk aus auf einen Voralarm (S1) ab 8 m/s und einen Alarm (S2) ab 10,8 m/s eingestellt. Beim Voralarm schaltet das Pre-alarm Relais, die gelbe LED leuchtet auf und ein Intervallpiepton ertönt.     Meteen na aansluiting van het apparaat op de voedingstoevoer schakelt het apparaat zich in. Wanneer een sensor aangesloten is, verschijnt de actuele meetwaarde. Indien geen sensor is aangesloten, verschijnt op het display „00,0“ bij de versies PCE-WSAC 50-A2C (Signaalingang 0…10 V) of „Err“ bij de versies PCE-WSAC 50-A1C (Signaalingang 4…20 mA).

    6 RS-485 Interface (optioneel) Door het MODBUS RTU Protocol en de seriële RS-485 poort wordt de communicatie van het Windsnelheidsalarm PCE-WSAC 50 mogelijk gemaakt. Hiermee kunnen bijv. de gemeten windsnelheid en windschaal uitgelezen worden. 6.1 Communicatieprotocol  De registers kunnen met de Modbus functie 03 (03 hex) uitgelezen worden en met 06 (06 hex) beschreven worden.
