Using your oven

Oven function knob
Temperature dial
Grill setting
(also usually 250 °C)
EN 12
For this purpose it is important:
• to cut the ingredients into strips, slices or pieces before cooking;
• to use good-quality oil, such as olive, maize, sunflower or peanut oil
when stir-frying. A small quantity is enough. Butter and margarine
on the other hand will burn because of the high heat;
• to place the dishes with the longest cooking time in the pan first,
so that at the end of the cooking time all ingredients are cooked al
dente at the same time.
The oven has 10 oven functions and 1 cleaning function.
table to select the correct oven function for the dish.
1. Place the dish in the oven.
For most dishes you should first preheat the oven.
2. Turn the 'Oven function knob' to the desired setting.
3. Set the oven to the desired temperature using the 'temperature dial'
(between 50-275
°C)
If you select a setting with 'small grill/large grill', you should turn the
'temperature dial' to the grill setting.
4. If desired, set a cooking time by pressing the 'timer button' and use
the 'less or more button' to set the desired time.
5. Press the 'start/stop' button.
The set oven function will be started and the oven will be heated to
the selected temperature. The temperature symbol lights up in the
display. When the oven has reached the selected temperature, the
temperature symbol in the display will dim.
Notes
• The temperature can be changed during cooking.
• Cooking times are rough estimates and can vary depending on a
number of conditions.
• For certain dishes, the oven should be preheated.
• If you use baking paper, this should be able to withstand high
temperatures.
• A lot of steam is released when cooking larger pieces of meat or
dishes using dough, such as pies. This can cause condensation on
the oven door. This is a normal occurrence and does not influence
the functioning of the appliance. When the cooking process has
ended, dry the door and the glass.
• Prevent condensation from forming and do not allow hot food to
cool in a closed oven.
