Overview

In the menu
FitTest
Test your personal fitness in a 1600m run (1
mile).
Have your fitness evaluated: Fitness index (1-5),
maximum oxygen-breath volume (VO
basal metabolic rate (BMR) and active metabolic
rate (AMR).
Have your individual upper and lower limit calcu-
lated automatically as a recommended training
zone and overwritten the two limits in the menu
. Also see the chapter "Setting training

zone".
Have your maximum heart rate (MaxHR) auto-
matically calculated and have it overwritten in
the menu

The fitness test is not just designed for active ath-
letes, but also for those with a lower fitness level
from all age groups.
After one second, the main display appears. The
top line displays your fitness index:
0 = No test has been conducted yet
1 = Poor
2 = Fair
3 = Average
