Start-up and operation
The appliance can be put into operation after removing the packaging. Proceed as follows
for this:
1. Make sure that the heating level switches (see Fig. 1, No. 3) are set downwards, in the
OFF position. Then connect the halogen radiant heater to an earthed socket protected
with an earth-leakage circuit breaker.
2. Now switch on the appliance by moving a heating level switch (see Fig. 1, No. 3) to the
desired heating level. The following options are available for selection.

When first put into operation or after a longer period without heating a short-term
odour can arise.
3.3
Switching off the appliance
1. Switch off the two switches for setting the heat output (see Fig. 1, No. 3).
2. Pull the power plug out of the socket.
Wait until the appliance has cooled down before covering it or putting it away.
3.4
Storage
Protect the appliance against dust, dirt and insects. Cover the appliance with the sheet
provided so that it is protected from impurities and damage or malfunctions caused this.
3.5
Repacking for private transport purposes
Always pack the appliance in its original packaging for transportation to prevent transport
damage.
If the heating level switch is in this position, the appliance will
provide a heat output of 400 W.
If the heating level switch is in this position, the appliance will
provide a heat output of 400 W.
If the heating level switches are in this position, the appliance
will provide a heat output of 800 W.
