General

The mobile halogen radiant heater is suitable for individual use in closed and dry rooms.
The radiant heat given off primarily heats people and objects located in the room, similar to
sunlight. The temperature of the room air remains more or less constant, thereby preventing
a dry heated air.
1.2

Type plate

The type plate of the radiant heater with all relevant technical data is attached on the rear
of the appliance.
1.3

Area of application and intended use

This appliance is constructed according to the state of the art and the recognized technical
rules of safety. Nevertheless, improper use or use other than that intended can result in
hazards to the life and limb of the user or third parties or damage to the appliance itself
and/or other tangible assets.
This portable, electric radiant heater is suitable for heating closed, dry rooms during the
transitional period. The appliance can also be used as additional heating on extremely
cold days.
A different use or a use extending beyond this is deemed to be improper. The user shall
bear the risk. Proper and correct use also includes observance of the operating and instal-
lation notes as well as compliance with the maintenance terms.

Product safety

In order to avoid potential hazards in advance, the following safety devices have been
installed by the manufacturer as standard:
Tip prevention
The anti-tipping protection is triggered as soon as the appliance exceeds a definite angle
of inclination.
At the same time, the appliance switches off automatically. To put the appliance back into
operation, it must be in a vertical position.
