Property sheet "Band Limits"
This property sheet offers the possibilty to define alam limits for the selected filter group (1,2 or
3). Property sheet "Band Limits 1" is assigned to channel 1 and "Band Limits 2" is assigned to
the second channel.
Check Box "Active" enables or disables the band limits. All input fields are greyed out if this box
is unckecked.
Check box "Alarm Latching" enables or disables the alarm latching. If the latching function is
activated (box checked), the alarm will be switched to self−latching if there is a limit value
exceeding. The alarm can then only be reseted via the configuration software or via Modbus
communication (gateway card A6824 necessary) if the limit value exceeding is no longer
present. For reset via the configuration software use the comment "Reset Latch Channel 1" or
"Reset Latch Channel 2" in the "Commands" menu.
Entry fields "Band n Alert" and "Band n Alarm" (n = 1...4) for definition of alert and alarm limits
for the four frequency bands. The frequency bands depend on the selcted digital filter (1,2 or 3).
In case of a limit exceeding the assigned binary output will be switched. The alert limits of
channel 1 are assigned to the binary output "Alert 1" and the alarm limits to the binary output
"Danger 1". The alert and alarm limits of channel 2 are assigned accordingly. These alarm states
can be also recieved via Modbus communication (gateway card A6824 necessary).
Entry field "Hysteresis" for definition of an alarm hysteresis. The hysteresis can be set to a
value of 0 ... 25 % of the measuring range. The hysteresis determines by how much the charac-
teristic value must drop below the limit value after a limit value exceeding in order to reset the
alarm. The set value refers to alert and alarm of all frequency bands.
Entry field "Delay" for definition of an alarm delay. Use this field to set the alarm delay to a value
of 0 ... 25 seconds. This is the time between recognizing the alarm condition and switching the
alarm output. This value refers to the alerts and alarms of all frequency bands.
