must unplug the appliance to disconnect it from the mains.

1. Before initial use, please allow the appliance to establish the proper cooling
temperature. You can check the current cooling temperature using a suitable

thermometer .
2. In case of high ambient temperatures (e.g. on hot summer days) you may have
to select position MAX. With this setting, the compressor may run continuously
to maintain the cooling temperature.
3. If you choose a low temperature and some rime is generated on the back of the
appliance, we recommend to select a warmer cooling temperature.
4. Adept the temperature setting to the outdoor temperature.
5. If you have disconnected the appliance from the energy supply, wait 3-5
minutes before you restart the appliance. Otherwise the appliance can be
damaged.
6. The setting definitions represent standard values only.

4.3 Operational parameters

1. The appliance can only reach the relevant temperatures when:
a. the a ambient temperature meets the climatic class.
b. the doors close properly.
c. you do not open the doors too often or too long.
d. the door seals are in proper condition.
e. the appliance is properly positioned.
f. you have not overfilled the appliance.
g. you do not store warm or hot food in the appliance.
2. When the ambient temperature is very high, it is recommended to set the
thermostat to a colder setting if needed. If the colder setting should cause strong
formation of encrusted ice, please select a lower setting.
